Of his own confession, Guy Roel invented nothing. So much the better: the blues, it(he) plays him(it) with its(his) tripes(guts) and its(his) guitars, with a soul and this distance in the voice(vote) and the game(set) which weave a thread until the previous history, until these pioneers of whom it(he) starts again, on " Spirits ", the one or the other title with as much talent as humility.

At the end and " laîd-back ", carried(worn) by an excellent sound, this well-balanced and grown-up disc is more than a honoring: with the inspired compos, it is the sincere breath of a man that sings and plays, marvelously, an eternal music which grows to him(her) at the end of fingers. A success.
